Welcome to our website. Originally called the Neighborhood Karate Club, the style of Bojuka Ryu was created by Shihan Eddie Stewart in 1970. The name was created by combining the first part of the different fighting styles that make up Bojuka. “Bo” (boxing), “JU” (jujitsu/judo), “KA” (karate), and Ryu, meaning “style”
Our student built dojo is located at 291 Carmel Avenue in Marina, CA located on the beautiful Monterey Bay.
